What song did you lose your virginity to?I don't remember, but I remember that I had sex to the whole album of Frank Oceans‘s Blonde and it was the bomb, it felt like the first time I ever had sex. And also Planet Caravan by Black Sabbath on repeat.
What is the language of love? When you’re real with someone.

List the three skincare products you always have on tour:Kombucha facial treatment, Skin Food by Weleda and a good lip balm, the mics always irritates my lips so much.
How many glasses of water do you drink a day? Be honest. I try to drink 2 litres a day, but always drink at least one.
What's the one beauty product that's always in your bag?The Weleda Skin Food cream, it smells so good and always gives me the glow effect I want.

I guess it’s subjective. For me, a big part of it is trust and making sure your actions match the love you say you feel.

SOOOO many to choose from I can’t even process this question it’s an impossible ask. A song I’m listening to a lot though is ‘UUHH’ by Teezo Touchdown.
How long does it take you to get ready?
It depends because I do my own braids which takes me about four hours, but I don’t do them every day. On a normal day it takes me around an hour to get ready or 20 minutes depending on if I care about my appearance on that day or not.
What makes you laugh?
Myself, The Office, the people in my life.
What makes you cry?
Basically everything lol.

I think I drink like a litre a day maybe? I should drink more though.

I’m an artist and musician. I get to write and produce songs, play them live, and create worlds in which they live in!

Sitting on the back of a moped my mum was driving (she hadn’t driven one in a long time).

“Don’t post your music”. I posted demos on Soundcloud and that’s how it all started for me. Being too precious can result in being stuck in an echo chamber of self-doubt.

100% PJ Harvey. I think the personal and political have always been intertwined, even in her make up. A hyper-femininity in the early 90s that reflected the raw, unfussy aesthetic. She took all the markers of restricted femininity and subverted them and challenged the male gaze.
Best beauty hack?
Vaseline on the eyelids make for a great glossy look.

Saya: There’s this Japanese method to live called ikigai: it’s about your purpose being something that is a mix of what you enjoy doing, what the world needs, what you are good at, and what can make your living - I think finding a balance of this and play makes each day enriching. Prioritising sleep, good food, working hard, time for friends and family, ensuring that you are constantly learning new things and feeding your curiosities. Being able to hold yourself as well as others.

Thoughts on masking pre/post show?
Saya: We all like to bathe in mud and the Thames river before our shows because it keeps us young and interesting.
What's the most indulgent / wildest beauty service you've ever booked?
Saya: Clari and I used to get free haircuts about every six weeks at a 5-star hotel in Leicester Square because I met a very generous hairdresser in the queue for a club one night. That's why my hair was really crazy last year. But sadly he’s not allowed to do it anymore so my hair is now boring and long :(
How many glasses of water do you drink a day? Be honest.
David: Every morning one big glass for me and one for the basil plant on the windowsill, maybe 5 more for me throughout the day - no more for the basil plant.
